Addressing Public Health Issues

Today more than ever, public health education is critical to our social and economic survival. To address this, the Department of Public Health Sciences has established a solid infrastructure consisting of five Divisions, all dedicated to addressing urgent societal public health needs through research and education programs:

Our faculty, staff and students are engaged in various research projects on public health issues that seek to improve the health of communities, working jointly with the nationally recognized centers to address health disparities.
